Assemble the system from the nucleus out. Click the pulsing organelle to install it, each one reveals its function.
Follow the pulsing target to assemble the cell from the nucleus outward. Toggle Animal / Plant to change the blueprint.
Every living thing is built from cells, and every cell is a system of parts working together. Each organelle has a specialized job, the way each of the Five Sisters governs one domain of the genome.
Both share a nucleus, mitochondria, ribosomes, ER, Golgi and lysosomes. Plant cells add three parts: a rigid cell wall, green chloroplasts for photosynthesis, and a large central vacuole for storage and structure.
The nucleus stores the DNA blueprint that directs every other structure, so a systems engineer builds outward from the control center.
Every organelle is in place and functioning. You've engineered a complete cellular system from the nucleus out.
